CURRENTLY COVETING | ALL THE HATS

Hola! Hope you’re week is off to a good start!  I know I’m already ready for the weekend but in the meantime, I thought I’d share some of my favorite hats with you because ya’ll know I love hats! These are all great brands and I’m super excited for one, in particular, to be added to my collection! I’d be wearing it now, but it’s been on backorder for 2 months!  So let’s get into it, shall we?

Ok first off straw is everything right now!  I’m talking bags, shoes, hats, ALL THE THINGS!  There are several styles out there but one brand, in particular, that has been killing it. Lack of Color has my heartstrings with all of their straw hats.  You can check out one that i keep pulling out to wear this summer here.

All the hats

The rest of the hats I’ve mentioned below are felt/wool. I’ve been holding on dearly and trying to take care of all of my wool hats over the past few years and will even wear them in the dead middle of the summer but that’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make for them!  Let’s just say I’m that dedicated, haha! There are a few different brands that I like to go with.  Lack of Color, Brixton, and Gigi Pip.  All of these have upheld my standards on what makes a good hat.  They hold their shape even when I’m a little rough on them and they actually fit my tiny head.  In case you’re wondering what size I usually take it’s a small or sometimes an xsmall if they have it.

One thing you need to know about sizing with these brands is that the majority are unisex sized so you may need to size down.  Also, some wools are not meant to be lint rolled, but rather brushed with a hat brush made with horsehair bristles and be sure to use lighter colored bristles for hats with lighter shades and darker toned bristles for hats with darker shades.  This is important because you may risk transferring the color from the bristles onto the hat.  Just check with your retailer for the recommended care instructions.

I’ve listed all of the hats I’m currently coveting below as well as shoppable links for your convenience.

wide brim hats, straw hats, wool/felt hats

| 1. FADER FEDORA | 2. TILLER BLACK  | 3. ZULU RANCHER | 4. TILLER GREY |

| 8. ZULU RANCHER IVORY | 9.  STRAW BOATER | 10. TERRACOTTA STRAW |

Hat’s off to you for reading this!  Are you currently coveting any of these hats?  Please feel free to comment below!  Also, in case you were wondering which hat I’m waiting on it’s #3 and I can’t wait for it to come in!

Cheers-  Ashley Nicole

  7. I definitely share your love for hats. I get this fetish from my late Grandmother, who owned about 50 hats! Lately though, I had been sporting the straw hat fedora. It’s perfect for this warm weather. Thanks for sharing your selections! I do like a few of them and might even consider purchasing!

  • So hard to believe that a year ago we brought this little nugget into our home! We have learned so much from her as well as ourselves. She has been off at obedience school and we are so excited to get her back!

  • Currently wishing I could smudge away this cold... if only it worked like that!
Instead, I’ll be sipping hot tea and popping Vitamin C, but if you’re looking for a good read on “smudging” check out my latest blog post (link in bio) for some enlightenment on the subject.

  • Cold days like these make me want to cozy up with a warm blanket and look through sunny photos of past vacations while day dreaming up our next adventure together.
Last year, my husband and I visited St. John and The British Virgin Islands and we had such an amazing time that I decided to surprise him by capturing our favorite vacation moments with a custom photo book.
Luckily, @google photos just launched a new photo book feature so I decided to try it out and I couldn’t believe how easy it was to create. It literally took minutes to put it together!
If you have an anniversary, birthday, or “just because” dates coming up I would definitely recommend adding your own personal touch with one of these keepsakes!

  • Finally got out and about after being sick for the last few days and found the most delicious tile pattern on the way to my car. This was someone’s walkway leading up to their home (don’t mind if I do). So glad no one was there 🤫 but I had to share because it was the perfect reminder that beauty can be found in the most unexpected places. I hope your day was filled with beauty loves! ✨

  • Really looking forward to the weekend and a little sunshine because it’s been raining here non-stop! ☔️ I’ve def gotten my money’s worth out of my @hunterboots this week, but now I’m ready for a change 👢
  • Does anyone feel weird when the new year starts mid week? It’s kind of like when you’re at the crossing between 2 states with one foot on both sides.... I guess what I’m trying to say is that I’m working on moving forward but I’m also having to look back on things in order to get there. Does this make sense? #newyearnewbeginnings #makeitcount #wrapitup
