Hi guys! It’s been a while since I posted a “Weekend Reads” so I thought this would be a perfect time because it’s freezing outside and if you’re anything like me, you will be staying in cozy PJs and sipping hot beverages for the rest of the day. This time of year is always bittersweet to me as fall slowly comes to an end. This year I felt like my favorite month of October was ruined by hurricane Michael and I’ve been trying to pick back up to where I left off ever since. I’ve put together a few things that I’m going to miss about fall and also some inspiration for the upcoming holidays for you below.
1.| Pumpkins, pumpkins, and everything pumpkin flavored is something I just can’t get enough of during the fall and I’m gonna miss it when it’s gone. You can find my favorite pumpkin scented candle here. I’m obsessed with this pumpkin treat.
3.| Are you counting down the days until Thanksgiving or stressing about the holiday? Well not to fret friend cause Martha has you covered. Check out Martha Stewart’s countdown to Thanksgiving here.
3.| I’ll be in the kitchen cooking up a storm for Thanksgiving next week! If yourself doing the same, be sure to check out my top 12 Cooking Essentials for Thanksgiving post here.
4.| Need a little Thanksgiving table setting inspiration? You can see my Thanksgiving tablescape from last year here.
5.| Usually by Thanksgiving I’m pretty much ready to dive into the holidays. I’ve been doing a little pinning and planning my Christmas decor theme lately that I’d be glad to share with you here.
6.| I usually like to turn off distractions like the TV and have music playing when I’m entertaining dinner guests. I’ve put together a playlist for these special moments below.

Happy reading and stay warm friends! I hope you liked my list of weekend reads and the new playlist. I love sharing these things with you and I’d love to hear your feedback! Please feel free to comment below if you are enjoying these or share some of your favorite Thanksgiving traditions. Either way, I’d be happy to hear from you!
Cheers – Ashley Nicole
